Healthier Dancer Programme Conference 2014 : ‘Aesthetic Athletes and Dancers’ videos
On 7 April 2014, Dance UK’s Healthier Dancer Programme, in partnership with the Royal Society of Medicine, hosted a conference dedicated to the aesthetic performer. The conference aimed to build on the London 2012 Dance and Sport legacy to optimise performance enhancement for British talent. It provided a platform for collaboration amongst the interdisciplinary teams working with aesthetic performers in areas such asrhythmic and artistic gymnastics, ice-skating, synchronised swimming, dance and diving. It covered a range of professional outlooks such as judging, performing, management, medical provision and training demands.
