Centre Stage October 2020: Lola Adodo
This month for our Centre Stage feature, we are celebrating Black History Month! As part of our 'I Move' campaign this summer, we reached out to those working and practicing within the field of Dance of the African Diaspora and asked them to share with us why DAD is important to them, the challenges that they are facing at the moment and their hopes for the future. In this first installment, we talk to Niquelle LaTouche. Niquelle is a dance artist and educator based in London. She is CEO and Founder of Niquelle LaTouche Arts and It Takes A Village Collective and specialises in Dancehall and Hiphop. She is also a poet, a choreographer, and an artist.
