Young people to benefit from creative education boost

One Dance UK believes that access to high-quality and accessible dance education and training - both in and out of school settings - is the birthright of every child and young person. Having worked closely with the Department for Education (DfE), the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Curriculum and Assessment Review (CAR) Panel to champion dance for all, we are delighted with the recent announcement of a new National Centre for Arts and Music Education, supporting children to access quality dance provision within the curriculum and beyond.

As the Subject association for dance, we look forward to continuing our work with DfE and other stakeholders to support the development of this exciting new initiative.
