National Dance Company Wales Auditions

National Dance Company Wales makes ambitious, engaging dance work to inspire audiences and participants across Wales, the wider UK and internationally.

Informed by the artistic direction of Matthew Robinson the company are seeking curious, versatile dancers with experience in a range of approaches.

Candidates should have a rich physical understanding, developed technical practice and be bold improvisors with a sense of their individual artistry.

A desire to collaborate and develop as part of a team is important.

To support the Company's engagement activity, facilitation experience and a passion for engaging with others is desired.

National Dance Company Wales are auditioning for artists of any gender identity.

This audition covers the period 2024 and 2025 for both full time and project-based work.

Future programmes will include works by Marcos Morau, Melanie Lane, Matthew Robinson, Faye Tan, Osian Meilir, Leo Lerus, Lea Anderson MBE.

 

Auditions: Saturday 9 March 2024, with a recall on Sunday 10 March 2024                 

Auditions will be held at the Dance House, Cardiff.

Current Contract start date: 6 May 2024
