AWA DANCE is offering 3 hours online Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of Safeguarding in Dance training, held by expert dance educationalist Sam LeBihan.
The course will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed by dance teachers, studio owners, choreographers and project leaders to understand safeguarding within a dance setting including recognising and responding to issues, building a safe organisational culture and information sharing. This advice will be guided by relevant legislation and guidance. A section of the training will focus specifically on working with girls and women.
Participants will get a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certificate at the end of the training and will be sent some introductory material in advance to prepare for the session. Due to the content and the discussions that might occur, the course will not be recorded.
