Inclusive Language Guide

We have designed a new guide to help people feel more confident using inclusive language!

It focuses on four areas: race, gender, disability and age. We encourage you to be considerate in your choice of language and to communicate in a way that is respectful of others.

This is just a guide and everyone will have their own preferences. If you're unsure about what language to use in conversation with someone then just ask, or mirror the language they use.

Language is always evolving and this document will too!
