A.I Example Policy
This is version 2 (v2) of a policy created to support cultural organisations across the UK. Version 1 was written in July 2024 as AI use increased across the sector workforce. The AI Sector Support Group, led by the Arts Marketing Association recognised there needed to be support at a governance level to ensure that AI use is employed effectively and with considered guidelines. Having shared v1 with the sector, received feedback and seen an increase in policy examples together, we have developed v2.
This policy is aimed at a governance level but includes questions you might want to ask to lead towards the practical guidance that teams need. Please feel free to use this policy as a starting point for your organisation and amend it to fit your specific context.
