Public Healthcare

A male dancer is having his body composition measured by standing on a small scale with his arms outstretched in front of him. In either hand he is grasping a body-composition measurement device which are each connected to the scale with white cables. A white female screening assistant is leant over a white desk observing the monitor, and holding some papers. They are in a white and grey dance laboratory, with gym equipment in the background.

Public Healthcare

Dance specialist public healthcare is available on the NHS. The NHS Dance Injury Clinics are made possible by the National Institute of Dance Medicine and Science (NIDMS), through a branch of Sports and Exercise Medicine (SEM).

One Dance UK is a founding partner of NIDMS, and we are proud to contribute to the running and management of the NHS Dance Injury Clinics. You must be registered with a GP in England to access the clinics. The Clinics are available at 4 hospitals in the UK:
