HOTFOOT Online was One Dance UK’s bi-annual publication focusing on Dance of the African Diaspora (DAD) providing a platform for critical debate around the dance practices of the African Diaspora in the UK and beyond.

Trailblazers

The Trailblazers Fellowship was an annual professional development programme that ran from 2003 until 2017. It supported UK-based dance artists, practitioners, performers, choreographers, dance teachers, and researchers working in the field of dance of the African Diaspora.

Bloom Festival

The Bloom National Festival explored and celebrated dance from Africa and its diaspora through performances, films, open workshops, and discussions. The festival ran from 2009 to 2017 and aimed to give a glimpse of the African diaspora dance talent flourishing in communities nationwide.

Re:generations International Conferences

Re:generations was the biennial academic and artistic conference that aimed to share current practice and research in the field of dance of the African Diaspora (DAD), explore new approaches to education and training in the field, and encourage new perspectives on the future of African Peoples Dance (APD).

The Dance of the African Diaspora (DAD) Lifetime Achievement Award honours the outstanding contribution made by individuals to the practice and appreciation of African Diaspora dance in the UK and beyond.
