Pavilion Dance welcomes Taiwan dance theatre for first UK tour this October

Inspired by real events from over 150 years ago, Bulabulay mun? explores the Mudan Shipwreck Incident of 1874. It tells the story of a community suddenly confronted by the immense power of wind and waves. But rather than retelling history, this deeply moving piece shines a light on the people behind the story - those who lived through it, and their descendants who carry its weight today.  Through breathtaking dance, powerful traditional songs, and evocative staging, the performers invite us to reflect on a simple but deeply human question: "How are you?"
