November at Sadler’s Wells: Discover the very best in tango, kathak, contemporary and ballet
This November, Sadler's Wells welcomes performances from HUMANHOOD, BalletBoyz, Ben Duke's Lost Dog, Emanuel Gat and more

At Sadler’s Wells East Ben Duke’s award-winning Lost Dog, based in East Sussex, reimagines one of Shakespeare’s most iconic characters with a sharply meta twist in The Last Hamlet in which Duke performs the title role (Wednesday 4 -Saturday 7 November). Following their sold out 2025 run, Birmingham and Barcelona based HUMANHOOD returns to Sadler’s Wells East to immerse the audience in the pulse of movement and sound with Vortex (Tuesday 10 - Saturday 14 November).
Kicking off Christmas, ZooNation’s Ebony Scrooge returns for 2026 with the show's creator, Dannielle 'Rhimes' Lecointe, this time taking on the titular role in her first onstage role in 10 years (Tuesday 24 November 2026 - Sunday 3 January 2027).
At Sadler’s Wells Theatre, award-winning choreographer Emanuel Gat returns with FIVE DAYS IN THE SUN set to Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 5, which explores transformation, resilience and catharsis (Tuesday 3 -Wednesday 4 November). World Tango Champion Germán Cornejo returns with his company for the internationally acclaimed Tango After Dark, a love letter to the Argentine tango (Thursday 5 - Monday 9 November). The inaugural Rose International Dance Prize winner - Christos Papadopoulos – will present My Fierce Ignorant Step, his first piece at Sadler’s Wells since his win in 2025, featuring ten dancers moving in unison (Friday 13 - Saturday 14 November).
Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist BalletBoyz - now in their 25th year - returns with world premiere Six Lethargies platforming the role of music and dance in mental health recovery featuring a 37-piece orchestra (Wednesday 18 - Saturday 21 November). Delhi based dancer and choreographer Aditi Mangaldas returns double bill WITHIN featuring classical and contemporary kathak dance (Friday 27 - Saturday 28 November).
Birmingham Rep's brand-new production of the beloved Christmas classic The Snowman™, comes to the Peacock Theatre, Sadler’s Wells’ home in the West End (Saturday 21 November 2026 - Sunday 3 January 2027).
The Lilian Baylis Studio hosts a world premiere as Georgia Tegou presents a fluid duet In The Quiet of Us about the fragility of human connection synthesising dance, visual art and neuroscience. (Thursday 19 - Saturday 21 November).
An IRIE! Takeover
On Saturday 28 November, IRIE! dance theatre takeover The Dance Floor from 12-6pm celebrating Dance of the African Diaspora. As the UK's leading pioneers of African and Caribbean dance fusion, IRIE! invites participants to move, connect, and be inspired through high energy dance workshops for all ages as well as live performances.

Kielo
Kielo, winner of Best Dance on Screen at Dance Digital - Sadler’s Wells’ dance film festival - is now available as part of Dance Digital Presents, a curated selection of films from the festival available for free, released for a time-limited period on the online streaming platform Digital Stage. This sensory-driven short film explores themes of love, support and contempt between young people at school as neurodiversity and friendship converges.

Confessions of a Ballet Star - Roman Mejia
Roman Mejia is the focus of this episode of Confessions of a Ballet Star, a series of intimate portraits showing the extreme highs and lows of a career in dance. The films delve into their passions, fears, and motivations uncovering the secrets of these ballet superstars.
Dance has been in Mejia’s life for as long as he can remember, a Principal Dancer at New York City Ballet, Mejia started dancing at age three. He talks about growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, as the son of two ballet dancers, as well as the life-changing experience of moving to New York. He reflects on his life as a dancer, sharing his career highlights, biggest challenges and hopes for the future.
