One Dance UK is thrilled to announce a partnership with The House of Mugler and Trinity Laban - enabling young people to access funding to study dance and music.

The House of Mugler has long enjoyed a profound link with the performing arts, intimately entwined with entertainment and larger-than-life performances. Mugler’s unique connection to this universe has made it a beloved brand among boundary-pushing artists and see it champion the empowerment of people and inclusivity, continually redefining its avant-garde legacy.

Last week, Mugler announced its first brand cause, providing scholarships to promising music and dance students across the UK and the USA, recognising the growing need to support performing arts education and make higher education more accessible.

Introducing the Mugler Creators Program, a visionary initiative offering scholarship opportunities to 16 promising young talents in contemporary dance and music. Beginning in 2024, the program will donate €175,000 to participating institutions in the United Kingdom and USA.

As the national support organisation for dance, One Dance UK is thrilled to partner with the Mugler Creators Program and our friends at Trinity Laban to deliver this initiative for these young people.

“For over 50 years, the connection between the world of performance and the House of Mugler has been unbreakable. Today, it fills me with pride and joy to offer talented young artists the chance to transform their dreams into reality, inspiring the next generation of performers to reach their full potential with the help of the Mugler Creators Program.”

Danièle Lahana-Aidenbaum, Global Brand President Mugler Fashion & Fragrances

"One Dance UK is thrilled to be able to support the Creators Program which will ensure more young people can access the education in dance and music that they deserve.  At a time when arts education is often overlooked and undervalued, we are proud to be able to support this initiative and look forward to seeing what these young people go on to achieve."

Andrew Hurst MBE, Chief Executive One Dance UK

“We are delighted to partner with Mugler and One Dance UK on the Creators Program, which aligns with our commitment to breaking down barriers to accessing the arts. We believe that young people from all backgrounds should have the opportunity to pursue their creative ambitions, and we are thrilled that this program will enable these students to study with us, empowering a new generation of musicians and dancers.”

The Mugler Creators Program begins at the commencement of the 2024 academic year and will continue to be an integral cultural institution in years to come.
