Impact Dance Presents Chapter 30: A landmark evening of Hip-Hop Dance Theatre celebrating the legacy of Impact Dance

This June, Impact Dance celebrates an incredible milestone with Chapter 30, a spectacular live anniversary performance marking 30 years of inspiring young people and shaping the UK Hip-Hop and Street Dance scene. The special anniversary show will take place at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London, bringing together dancers, audiences and supporters for an unforgettable celebration.
Chapter 30 celebrates the story of a company that has influenced generations of dancers across the country.

Presented in a distinctive DOCU-JOURNEY style, Chapter 30 brings together Impact’s defining moments, a powerful reflection of Impact’s story from its roots to its rise, and beyond; an inspiring tribute to the past and an exciting look toward the future.

Audiences can expect an exciting mix of dance, music and storytelling, with both new performances and highlights inspired by Impact’s history. The show will feature a cast of talented performers, including professional dancers and members of Impact’s alumni, youth and academy programmes, bringing together the next generation of talent alongside experienced artists.

The production, directed by Impact’s founder Hakeem (Mr Impact) Onibudo also includes collaborations with leading figures from the UK Hip-Hop dance scene, including Boy Blue’s Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy, and Uchenna’s Vicki Igbokwe-Ozoagu, reflecting the depth and legacy of the culture that Impact Dance has helped shape.

Founded in 1995, Impact Dance has empowered and created opportunities for thousands of young people using dance as a tool for creativity, expression and social change. Impact has helped shape the UK’s Street dance and Hip-Hop theatre landscape through performance, training and artistic development. Chapter 30 celebrates this legacy while looking ahead to the future.
