Tufani la Hubba by Shirley Langhelle embodies the chaos and power of love, inspired by Nina Simone’s Wild is the Wind. It expresses deep-rooted hope for the African, African Caribbean, and Latin American diaspora despite uncertainty. Langhelle, a principal dancer with Tabanka Dance Ensemble, makes her LDIF solo debut. Reflections, choreographed by David Blake and performed by Oraine Frater, explores self-discovery and connection. Blake and Frater have notable careers in dance and The Lion King.
