I worked professionally for ten years as a classical ballet dancer with Sadlers Wells (now Birmingham) Royal Ballet before retraining as an osteopath and naturopath. I have been in private practice for the last 25 years treating dancers from all backgrounds and levels of experience. In addition to the knowledge and skills I have developed through my osteopathic practice my own experience in the dance world gives me an understanding of the particular stresses of being a dancer. I use soft tissue massage and both structural (mobilisation and manipulation) and craniosacral techniques. In addition as a naturopath I can give advice on diet and nutrition and the use of hydrotherapy ( hot and cold water applications to aid the healing process). I work Monday to Friday in three different locations in London with evening appointments available.
